The bold red Treasury seal appears to the right of the portrait, with the serial number A49834273A printed twice in red ink. "UNITED STATES NOTE" appears across the top, with "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "FIVE DOLLARS" in large intaglio lettering.
