The Dallas Goldback represents a landmark in Goldback history as the first city-commissioned design ever produced. Each note contains 1/1000th of a Troy ounce of 24-karat gold, carefully embedded within a durable polymer substrate using advanced vacuum-deposition technology.
The obverse artwork showcases the Dallas skyline and the spirited “Y’all Street,” a local nickname for the city’s bustling financial hub, a rising counterpart to New York’s Wall Street. The design captures Dallas’s energy, innovation, and entrepreneurial drive, making this release a proud symbol of Texas ambition and heritage.
Also featured is the Texas Longhorn, representing strength, endurance, and frontier pride. Its bold silhouette embodies the determination that defines the Lone Star State and the enduring spirit of the American West.
Each Dallas Goldback is interchangeable with all other Goldbacks and carries a value equivalent to 1 Goldback denomination. While not a replacement for a future Texas Goldback Series, it stands as a special-edition release celebrating the cultural and financial heart of Dallas–Fort Worth.
